A goal of Portable Software Company is to build portable software tools for programmers. Here is the first project to address that goal.

• The Portable Object Notation project - a data-interchange format that builds on the base of JSON.

This project is completely open. Portable Software Company will protect the definition of this de facto standard, but in all other respects, the project is copyright and patent free, using the MIT License for all source code.

Portable Software Company will host the source code repository, bug tracking system and comment forums, but which are not yet available.
